February 13, 2008 – Tuskegee Airman Robert Martin was a P-51 pilot with the 100th Fighter Squadron of the 332nd Fighter Group during World War II. On his 64th mission he was shot down over Yugoslavia. Yugoslav partisans picked him up and helped him evade capture.

February 10, 2010 – Alexander Jefferson was a Tuskegee Airman during World War II. As a P-51 pilot with the 301st Fighter Squadron of the 332nd Fighter Group he flew 18 missions before being shot down on Aug. 12, 1944. He spent 9 months as a POW in Stalag Luft 3.
